The FCCM Family Ministry is unique because we believe it is a foundational approach to the Great Commission Jesus gives us in Matthew 28. We believe the family is God’s main vehicle for faith formation. In Genesis 18, God used Abraham’s family to start a generational movement. God told Abraham to instruct his children and household in the way of the Lord. In doing so, God’s promise to Abraham would be fulfilled. What was that promise? God promised land, a great nation, and that ALL families of the earth would be blessed. “All families of the earth” – that includes us! The FCCM model of family ministry is a distinct and identifiable approach to the challenge of drawing the household and the church into a life-transforming partnership.
