A disciple of Jesus is any person who has left an old way of life to follow and become like Jesus. In the Bible, ordinary people – fishermen, businesspeople – believed Jesus and then gave up everything to follow Him. Taking that initial seed of faith and building them up, Jesus gave them power to live transformed lives. The result was that they loved Him so much that they gave their very lives for Him – and the world has never been the same!
